The RAND Boats brand represented in the Mediterranean

Port d'Hiver Yachting, based in Bormes les Mimosas, has added a new card to its motorboat offer. Already representing the brands Pardo, Sacs, Fanale Marine and Bavaria, it is now the distributor of the Danish Rand Boats, notably known for their electric and hybrid models. The geographical area covered extends from Grau du Roi to Monaco, as well as on the west coast of Corsica.

North Sails supplier of The Ocean Race 2021-22

North Sails has won the contract for the crewed round the world race The Ocean Race 2021-22, formerly the Volvo Ocean Race. It will provide the sails for the VOR 65 one-design category exclusively for the third consecutive edition. The contract does not cover the IMOCA boats, which are newcomers to the race.

100,000th electric motor for Torqeedo

The electric marine motor brand Torqeedo has celebrated the delivery of its 100,000th drive system. The 100 kW inboard motor for the British shipyard Spirit Yachts is a symbolic milestone for the German supplier, which was founded in 2005 and is a pioneer in the field of electric drives for yachts.

Nautex distributes the Ubi Maior loader

The distributor Nautex has added the Ubi Maior brand of fittings to its catalog. The Italian manufacturer's pulleys, friction rings and other reefing systems complete Nautex's offer for sailboats, which is already present with the Forespar, ATN or Tides Marine brands and its own products such as wheel bars or access platforms.

Suzuki Test Center

Suzuki, the outboard engine manufacturer, has announced the opening of a technical test center in Florida on more than 73,000 m² for an investment of almost 15 Meuros.
