Couach wins SNSM contract

The Couach shipyard, based in Gujan-Mestras, renowned for its luxury yachts and military interceptors, has been selected by the SNSM for the renewal of its rescue fleet. Together with the naval architect Frédéric Neuman, he won the competition against the Grand Large group and the architect Pierre Delion. The contract for 70 vessels over 10 years is under negotiation.

New acquisition for Alliance Marine

The French leader in equipment for the yachting and professional navy, the Alliance Marine group, continues its expansion. He announced the acquisition of the Marseilles-based company Sogeric. The marine paints distributor, representing Akzo Nobel and the antifoulings International brand, integrates VDM-Reya, a subsidiary of Alliance Marine.

The Solitaire du Figaro is looking for a sponsor

The 50th edition of the Solitaire du Figaro also marks the end of the partnership of the famous ocean race with the medical company Urgo. The organizers, OC Sport - Penduick, say they are looking for a title partner for 2020 and beyond.

April Marine signs with the Grand Pavois

April Marine has announced that it has become the major partner of the fishing area and the Grand Pavois Fishing competition. The yachting insurer is continuing a process that began with the sponsorship of a team of fishermen during the 2018 edition of the competition.

Les Sables d'Olonne in the ranks to buy out the Golden Globe Race

The town of Les Sables d'Olonne and its suburbs have confirmed the hosting of the 2nd edition of the old-fashioned round-the-world sailing race. The local authorities also raised the possibility of buying the Golden Globe Race from Ocean Frontier Pty Ltd for 450,000 euros.
