Fountaine-Pajot expands its network in Asia
Fountaine-Pajot, the manufacturer of catamarans from La Rochelle, is developing its export network on the Asian market. The brand's multihulls will now be distributed in Indonesia by Yacht Sourcing, which already represents Italian yachts Ferretti, Pershing and Riva in the country.
Brunswick mutualizes its production
The Brunswick Group reorganizes its boat manufacturing plants. The former Sea Ray plant on Merritt Island, Florida will now be an "integrated manufacturing center". While the group has stopped production of part of the Sea Ray range, the site will now be able to produce boats for the Boston Whaler brand and components for the group's other plants.
Bénéteau expands its Bégaudière plant
The Bénéteau Group has launched the modernization of its historic La Bégaudière plant in Saint-Gilles-Croix de Vie, which opened in 1981. The 14.4 Meuros project includes the renovation of the premises and the creation of an additional 13,000 m² in order to be able to build larger boats up to 70 feet. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2020.
Nodus Factory targets South America
Textile hardware manufacturer Nodus Factory has announced a partnership with the Brazilian hardware company Nautos. The Breton company is starting its international development through a range of integrated connectors that will be directly marketed by Nautos.
Barneville Carteret marina extension validated
The proposed extension of the barneville Carteret marina was adopted. 7 million, carried out by the Société Publique Locale d'Exploitation Portuaire de la Manche, will increase the capacity of the port from 360 vessels to 700 berths. The channel and the grounding area will be dredged. The inauguration is scheduled for July 2020.
