Seatec 2019, the 17th meeting of the Italian nautical industry
Seatec has gradually established itself as an important event for shipyards and the Mediterranean nautical industry. The Italian show brings together the entire ecosystem of suppliers and subcontractors in the yachting and yachting industry, from designers to cabin lighting suppliers and construction site equipment. Located for 17 years in Carrara, Tuscany, close to the major Italian yacht builders, Livorno, Viareggio or La Spezia, the event has found its place. 362 brands participated in the 2018 edition, which hosted 2469 BtoB events.
In parallel with Seatec, Compotec is holding a complementary exhibition dedicated to the composite industry.
Exhibitions, BtoB meetings, training and competitions
A large exhibition area allows nautical industry suppliers to set up their stands to present their services and products. Visitors can also register to organize BtoB meetings. In addition, the Seatec is the occasion for many events.
The Seatec Academy hosts thematic conferences on the technical problems of yacht building and offshore racing. Among the topics that will be discussed in 2019 are: simulations of forces on boats, 3D printing of hull moulds, clean propulsions, Big Data in yachting or the circular economy.
The Seatec will also be the occasion for a start-up competition and the presentation of several prizes:
