6th edition of the Pro&Mer exhibition
The Pro&Mer trade show is celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2019. For the 2nd year in a row, the event is making a stopover in Morbihan. It will be held this year at the Palais des Congrès in Lorient, on March 19, 2019. Organized by Bretagne Pole Naval, the show bridges the gap between companies, training centers of the sea sector and people who want to join the maritime environment.
More than 100 companies
The number of exhibitors will exceed one hundred in 2019 to reach 114 companies. While companies in the civil and military naval sectors are the most represented, the nautical industry will also exhibit through the CDK Technologies shipyard or the Chantier de Bretagne Sud. Recruitment agencies will also offer positions for pleasure boat builders. Equipment manufacturers are also announced.
Training in the spotlight
The training courses for the sea trades are also presented at the show. The AFPA, the Nautical Institute of Brittany (INB) and the CEFCM will demonstrate the wide range of courses for the nautical industry.
Resume writing workshops, job datings, conferences and round tables will be organized.
Sea Professions Data Sheets
On the occasion of the show, Bretagne Pole Naval will publish the 2019 edition of its booklet of 55 job cards. Among the new features, the booklet will contain an item "Marina Reception Agent".
1600 job offers around the maritime sector
Candidates can submit their CVs online beforehand on the Pro&Mer website, in order to facilitate recruitment. Offers are also visible after registration. "The volume of offers should largely exceed that of last year to reach more than 1600 job offers," enthuses Anne-Marie Cuesta, general delegate of Bretagne Pole Naval. "The particularity of this year is the number of small structures carrying 2.3 to 10 offers, particularly in maintenance, port and yachting."
