Equipment adapted to the constraints of the kitchen on board
Cristel has made a name for itself in the field of kitchen utensils and even among the great chefs. Its equipment with removable handles, whether it is frying pans or saucepans, makes the brand's identity and makes it particularly suitable for use on board a boat. "We have designed these products for spaces with limited storage space, thinking of the urban environment, but this is also particularly true for water sports," says Damien Dodane, Deputy General Manager of Cristel. The trick allows for compact storage thanks to a perfect stacking. It also increases safety by avoiding hitting the handle that protrudes from the stove in a stroke of the heel.
A dish for cooking and serving
All the equipment, lids, frying pans and pans are oven safe, offering a great versatility of use. The attention to design also makes them elegant dishes in the middle of the square table. This dual cooking and service function reduces the amount of kitchen equipment required on board.
Marine Set
Cristel, which wants to attract more yachtsmen, through specialised distributors and shipyards, has developed sets dedicated to cooking on board. Made up of 9 or 10 pieces, they combine pot, pot and sauté pan to cook on the boat or at home.
Quality Made In France
All Cristel products are made of 18-10 stainless steel manufactured in France. Production takes place in the Fesches-Le-Chatel factory in the Doubs. It has the label Origine France Garantie which certifies that more than 91% of the added value of the product is manufactured in France. "We insist on quality and are now the leading manufacturer of high-end stainless steel kitchen utensils in France. Our products are guaranteed for life," insists Damien Dodane.
Ecological approach
Cristel is also certified as a Living Heritage Company (EPV) and CSR for corporate social responsibility. In an ecological approach, the company has a retreading service that refurbishes the non-stick coating of utensils when they are used, for a price equivalent to 30% to 40% of new. "Our products are repairable and not disposable," explains Damien Dodane.
