The Boatshed yacht brokerage agency was established in 1999 in England. Since then, the company has opened branches and built a solid reputation throughout the world, in the United States, Australia, Asia... After having started in France on the riverboat market in 2011, Boatshed now wants to offer its services in the field of maritime pleasure boating. The new entity Boatshed France is looking for brokers to represent it in France and be part of its international network.
Professional franchisees
Boatshed offers a first type of contract for professionals wishing to make boat brokerage their main activity. New Boatshed franchisees will have access to comprehensive training. A dedicated website will be created for their agency. Boatshed will provide them with 24/7 support. An initial investment is required from the franchisee, proportional to his professional background and his initial portfolio of boats. In return, it benefits from an exclusivity on its territory. This offer is also open to existing brokers.
Boatshed Modular, an entry point into brokerage
Boatshed also offers an innovative collaboration model for enlightened amateurs and boating professionals working in parallel. This is the Boatshed Modular device. The sales process is divided into 5 modules. Modules 1 and 2 include the search for stocks of boats for sale and the management of on-board visits. They can be easily managed by a passionate yachtsman, well integrated in his sailing environment. Module 3 is about negotiation. The last modules gathering the administrative steps are managed by Boatshed.
Brokers integrating the Boatshed Modular system do not benefit from any exclusivity. However, they do not have to pay any fees and can evolve towards module 3 or even the creation of their own franchise.
