A product to develop in the nautical industry
Until now, Harsonic ultrasonic antifoulings were sold directly by Harsonic Maritime, the Belgian manufacturer's French importer. Philippe Porquet of Harsonic Maritime, who is heavily occupied by the professional boat sector, which represents 80% of his activity, could not develop the yachting sector. It was therefore with interest that he accepted MC Technologies' proposal to take the distribution of the product to boaters. "Through its network, MC Technologies will be able to develop Harsonic in the boating and yachting industry."
Diversifying a technical catalogue
For its part, MC Technologies sees Harsonic antifoulings as a relevant complement to its catalogue. The ultrasonic technique corresponds to the desire of the Quimper distribution company to offer products with high technological value, as Alexandre Hegaret, communication and marketing manager at MC Technologies explains. "MC Technologies is 8 years old and already offers around twenty brands. We want to broaden the range of proposals made to our dealers with technical products, outside pure electronics like Lowrance. Harsonic fits fully into this framework and others will follow quickly."
