100 boats sold
The 8th edition of the International Multihull Show ended on Sunday 23 April 2017 with a very positive result. The many new products presented testify to a boating sector in full growth, confirming the many statistics on catamarans provided by professional associations. The exhibition was an opportunity for the shipyards present to continue to fill their order books. A hundred boats, catamarans and trimarans, were sold during the 5 days of exhibition.
Boaters from around the world
Beyond the record sales, the organizers are pleased with the very international attendance of the show. Among the 14,000 visitors to the International Multihull Show, 60% had made the trip from abroad and sometimes from far away. Quebecers, crossed on the pontoons, came for the second time, in order to choose the catamaran adapted for their retirement, illustration of the leading position of the show on the international multihull market.
A top-of-the-range offer
Among the boats presented, we could see the evolution of the market and the important creativity of the high-end sector. Many new products were presented in the semi-custom segment, such as the Swiss Cat 48, Alibi 57 or Banuls 60.
If the projects were numerous, one is surprised by the few motor catamarans presented.
Next edition in 2018
Building on its success, the Multihull Show announces its return, from 18 to 22 April 2018, still at La Grande Motte.
