V-Line, the new range of superyachts from Baglietto shipyard

V-Line, new range of Baglietto

The Italian shipyard Baglietto Yachts is launching a new range - the V-Line - which will be composed of three models, designed by three different architects. All will have common lines to indicate that they belong to the range, but will have different characteristics to satisfy the greatest number.

Baglietto, a superyacht shipyard, unveiled a new range of yachts, the V-Line, during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Three designers have been chosen by the Italian shipyard.

A 41 m superyacht, designed by Santa Maria Magnolfi Design

The V-Line currently consists of three superyachts, the first of which is a 41 m model, designed by Santa Maria Magnolfi Design. On this model, with its sober and harmonious lines, the exterior areas are at the heart of the design with many common areas totalling 300 m2, distributed between the 3 decks. The solarium is about 60 m² wide. On the upper deck, in front of the helm station, a large C-shaped sofa overlooks the spacious tanning area with swimming pool, to enjoy the outdoor life and a view of the horizon. The interior space is also very open, with large, full-height glass surfaces. The main deck saloon was designed with the dining room as the central element of the boat, linking the interior and exterior areas. Thus, it serves either as a conventional dining room, or as an open deck over the cockpit when the windows are open. The living room was moved forward, exploiting the width to the maximum.

"In designing this 41-metre ship, we had the honour and responsibility of preserving some of Baglietto's historical and stylistic elements, while reviving and rehabilitating the fiery and passionate spirit that has made this brand an exceptional asset over the decades" explained the founder of the studio Federico Santa Maria.

A 44 m superyacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design

For the 44m yacht, Francesco Paszkowski Design has created a sleek and sleek profile with contemporary lines. After having designed Baglietto yachts for several years, bringing the characteristics of the yard, the designer reused the exterior of several previous models, giving them a contemporary touch, to revitalize the brand. At the back, the large beach club (bathing platform) is right on top of it. The owner's cabin extends over the entire width of the main deck, while the guest area can easily be converted into a large suite thanks to the modular walls. The terrace of about 100 m² has a swimming pool and a large tanning area.

A 44 m superyacht designed by Hot Lab

Another 44 m long model was designed by the Italian design studio Hot Lab, which created a dynamic but never aggressive motoryacht. What characterizes it most is its high vertical bow, which is highlighted by the slightly inclined front windscreen and its lines inspired by automotive design. At the stern, the yacht has a large garage, which once lowered becomes a large comfortable swimming platform with access to the garage. The main cabin, installed at the front of the boat, extends over the entire width. It is very bright thanks to the large windows and the skylight obtained through the table in the outdoor living room. The suite also has a balcony on the front, accessible from a large glass door.

The engineering of the three models was carried out internally by the Baglietto shipyard. They will all weigh less than 500 tonnes and will be equipped with two Cat 32 ACERT engines for a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. Both 44 m models will also be available in hybrid version.
