Announced at the press conference at the Cannes Motor Show, the Bénéteau Group is continuing to structure its activities. Within the framework of this new industrial management policy wanted by Hervé Gastinel, the Bénéteau Group has appointed Renaud Tourte as Director of Product Development for Piacenza.

Renaud Tourte has been in his post since October 3, 2016 and is responsible for all the group's design offices in its yachting activity, as well as for innovation.

A profile that is both technical and commercial

Renaud Tourte graduated from SupMéca in 1993 and completed his technical engineering knowledge with training in finance and business at HEC and management at ESSEC.

Extensive experience in the automotive industry

Renaud Tourte has worked for over 20 years in the design and product development departments of the automotive industry in France and abroad. This experience will surely be essential in the industrialization policy wanted by the group.

In his last position, Renaud Tourte was Project Manager for Dongfeng Motors/Renault in China. After his first job as Head of the Renault CAD Design Office in Turkey, he continued his career within the Renault / Nissan group, becoming Vehicle Engineering Project Manager for Nissan in Japan. Back in France, he was then Head of the Automotive Engineering Department then Deputy Director in the Vehicle Prototype Engineering Department for Renault France. Appointed Director of the DACIA Group Automotive Design Office and President of DACIA Sport in Romania in 2010, he finally assumed responsibility for Engineering for the new Renault Espace.
