Involving the sector
In order to better meet the expectations of its members, the Fédération des Industries Nautiques has decided to use the collaborative tools offered by the Internet to develop the development plan for the sector. NauticLab, the new online site launched by the organization is open to all professionals. It aims to collect comments and proposals from all actors in the sector. Everyone can vote for the measures that seem relevant to them.
Multiple questions
The topics covered are multiple and deal with all the issues, economic, regulatory, societal, environmental, political... We find the issues of competitiveness, sustainable development, new markets for manufacturers but also training, employment or use.
In addition to the topics proposed by FIN, suggestions from professionals in the suggestion box who will receive more than 50 votes, will be open for discussion and addressed in the summary document.
A political objective
The results of the consultation will enable the Fédération des Industries Nautiques to build its development plan which will be sent to all candidates in the 2017 presidential election.
For Fabien Metayer, General Delegate of FIN,"Boating has become the forgotten part of French maritime policy. We needed a strong project in which each professional, each economic player, could express itself. The platform www.nauticlab.fr is dedicated to them, and will enable us to co-construct tomorrow's industry".
Launch at Cannes Yachting Festival
The tool will be presented to professionals at a meeting on September 8, 2016, at the Cannes trade show.
