Secret catamaran but already sold!
Information on the new Lagoon Seventy 8 motoryacht is still limited. If its sailing brother the Lagoon Seventy 7 has already benefited from a highly developed online communication plan that will culminate during the presentation in the back-to-school shows, the Seventy 8 website is currently empty. However, we learned from broker Simpson Marine, representing brands of the Bénéteau group based in Hong Kong, the sale of the first unit of this motor catamaran in Asia. The boat will be based in Malaysia and delivered in 2018.
Loyal customer for renowned distributors
Simpson Marine has been a Lagoon representative since 1988 and has sold over 100 catamarans to date. He received the award for 2nd world distributor 2015 and best Asian distributor at the last Lagoon dealer conference last July.
The customer of the future Motoryacht Seventy 8 is the current owner of a Lagoon 620. According to Simpson Marine, he was seduced by the elegance of the Lagoon Seventy 8 which decided him to change catamaran to take advantage of 40% more space!
Technical data
With a length of 23.80 m, the Seventy 8 is the largest model on site and has 8 to 14 berths. It presents some new features for Lagoon, such as a side door that opens directly from the cabin to create a balcony on the water.
