General mobilization
After an extremely disappointing 2016 edition, Exponantes, owner of the event, mobilized all the players to decide on the changes needed to revitalize the Nantes Fishing Show. 33 representatives of partner companies and exhibitors, French and foreign, met to jointly define the priorities for the 17th edition, scheduled for 2017.
Resolutely turned towards the sea
While it had opened up to freshwater fishing in recent years, the show is refocusing on marine activity. He changed his name to Salon de la Pêche en Mer. The subtitle boats - underwater and fresh water, however, leaves the door open to potential exhibitors.
The show wishes to focus on boats, electronics and underwater fishing, at the heart of maritime specificity.
New dates
To increase efficiency, the appointment is set later, from 3 to 5 March 2017, instead of February, one week before the official opening of the fishery.
Lower exhibitor and visitor prices
A major criticism of the previous edition, the price per m² of stands has been reduced by 15%, with an additional 15% if booked before 18 June 2016. This decrease should allow for an increase in the number of companies present.
To make visitors come, the entrance fee is reduced to 5 euros instead of 6,5 €.
New team
The management of the show is now assured by Carole GOHEL, supported by Virginie LEGER-MATHYS in the sales department and Elodie FORMAN for the administrative part.
See you in 2017 to measure the effects of this new action plan.
