Respecting the alternation Atlantic / Mediterranean, after Nice in 2015, it is in the Atlantia centre of La Baule (44) that the"Port, Nautisme and Littoral" Meetings are set up. This is the third edition in the Loire since their creation in 2006. This conference gathers the private and public actors of the port world in order to debate the evolutions of the sector. Among the 300 participants expected, we can note the presence of managing bodies such as the Association des Ports de Plaisance de Bretagne (APPB) and the Association des Ports de Plaisance de l'Atlantique (APPA).
Over the years, the event, initially dedicated to yachting, has opened to all the river ports, fishing ports and commercial ports... The development of new coastal uses forces us to reason together on issues common to the different sectors. Pleasure pontoons, commercial quays, sandy beaches form a unique economic environment.
Several workshops and conferences, articulated around three routes, Port - Nautisme and Littoral, are proposed to the elected representatives and professionals present. There are four business areas:
- Port infrastructures and environment
- Boating professionals and economic growth
- Innovation and development
- User, citizen and customer
Among the themes addressed, we can cite subjects as varied as :
- The consequences of the NOTre law on port organisations
- Maritime areas and nautical leisure areas
- Port waste management
The detailed program of the meetings is available online on the Ideal Connaissance website.
